Cultural institutions use artwork in their own way.

Theatres, festivals, production venues and dance institutions bring their own structures. artwork grows through these differences and remains adaptable.

Eight publicly named cultural institutions

Experience from many teams flows into the same open system.

The institutions use artwork to different extents. Most are already using it in ongoing operations; Stadttheater Gießen is currently testing the inventory module. Experience from every phase contributes to joint development.

Implementation at Kampnagel

From a grown legacy system to a shared platform.

01

Starting point

An internally developed planner had grown over many years. Some processes remained analogue, knowledge depended on individual people and modern collaboration became increasingly difficult.

02

The approach

A small admin team first learned the whole platform. Departments and key users then joined in phases while the legacy system continued during a transition period.

03

Today

Processes are digitally traceable and can keep adapting through the project builder. The internal team now carries training and development ideas itself.

“Running the old and new tools in parallel for a transition period proved invaluable. A clear cut-off date helped us avoid a hard switch.”

Benjamin Willems · Head of IT, Kampnagel
